In this research stream, we explore macroeconomic and fiscal policy strategies adopted by Governments, and how Governments undertake macroeconomic and revenue and expenditure forecasting. This stream also looks at the IMF and interactions with Governments; the risk-analysis mechanism in government, and government macro-fiscal reporting.
Public Financial Management
In this research stream, we explore all aspects of public financial management in post-conflict countries, including cash and treasury management; budget planning and execution; GFMIS; performance management and performance budgeting; and operations and structures of Ministries of Finance.

E-Government
In this research stream, we explore the way in which governance is changing as a result of the influence of technology. We explore new models of governance only possible with the use of technology and offer insight into how conflict and post-conflict affected states might benefit or short circuit development paths through the intentional use of technological products, paradigms and platforms.
Public Sector Governance
In this research stream, we explore different models of public sector governance in conflict and post-conflict affected states and delve into the challenges and strengths inherent in each of them. We look at some of the ways in which public sector governance is different in post-conflict countries is different from mechanisms in more stable environments.
